Since opening our second shop on Newland Avenue in April 2014 demand for our product has dramatically increased. We've rapidly outgrown our kitchen, and it has been clear for a while that our city centre shop just isn't big enough for all of Hull's pie needs.
The last two weeks have been especially exciting times for The Hull Pie. Last week, we unveiled our brand new bakery, enabling us to increase our production and keep more customers happy at all of the festivals, shops and events we service.
The bakery also enables us to develop our products further. Although a challenge, gluten-free is something we are still keen to crack, and our specialist dessert chef is chomping at the bit to start creating a delicious range of sweet pies now that he has the room.
This week has also been a memorable one for us as we opened our second city centre shop, The Pie Hut, outside St Stephens Shopping Centre.
In an ideal location for workers, shoppers and travellers alike, it offers our delicious gourmet food range on-the-go.
The hustle and bustle of the Christmas market that starts this week is guaranteed to keep us busy, but we will be there long after the bells of Christmas have stopped ringing.
